Black Caucus

The mission of the Kentucky Black Caucus of the young Democrats is to create a space for black young people and other ethnicities to feel valued and listened too. We are the future. Studies show by the year 2045 America will be a minority-majority country. The time is now to start welcoming and accepting the voices of other cultures. America claims to be a melting pot, but we black and brown and other ethnicities know this far from the truth. We must have an opening and honest discussion about race, only then can this country call itself a melting pot.
